TUMBLING CLASSES

Kinder Tumbling  - A 45 min fundamentals class designed for athletes ages 4-5. No experience required.

Level 1 – A fundamentals class for athletes ages 5+ learning handstands, cartwheels, bridges and other foundational tumbling elements.  No experience required.

Level 1 Advanced -  For athletes ages 5+ who have mastered the foundational Level 1 tumbling elements and are ready to focus on walkover skills.  Athletes must be able to do a cartwheel, handstand, and bridge unassisted to register for this class.

Level 2 – For athletes ages 5+ ready to learn the fundamentals of handsprings. Athletes must be able to do a back walkover unassisted to register for this class.

Level 2 Advanced - For athletes ages 5+ ready to learn how to connect roundoff handsprings and standing handsprings in sequence.  Athletes must be able to do front walkovers and back walkovers unassisted and a standing back handspring with minimal assistance to register for this class. **This class is not recommended for athletes learning the fundamentals of handsprings

Senior Level 1/2 Combined - This tumbling class is for athletes ages 10+ working on Level 1 and 2 tumbling skills.

Level 3 - An advanced class for athletes ready to learn front and back tucks.  Athletes must be able to do front handsprings and roundoff back handsprings x2 to register for this class.

Level 4+ – An elite class for athletes ready to learn back layouts, twisting and advanced standing tumbling lines.  Athletes must be able to do a roundoff back handspring back tuck unassisted on the floor to register for this class.

Classes begin Sunday January 5, 2025 and finish Monday March 31, 2025.

There are several weeks where classes are not running due to competitions, holidays, etc. Please refer to the schedule and fees document above to see which days classes are cancelled.

 KE’s Recreational Athlete Membership $35 + HST applies which covers the cost of insurance from May 2024 to April 2025 and a KE t-shirt for the student to wear to class and keep. This fee is already included in competitive athletes' membership.

Kingston Elite reserves the right to cancel/combine any classes with insufficient registration.

1. The membership fee is non-refundable. 

2. If you and/or your child are not completely satisfied after your first class, the balance of tuition will be returned less $30. As of the second class and onward, 50% of the remaining tuition will be refunded. 

3. Make-up classes and fees are not given due to vacation, sickness, conflicting schedules, poor weather, etc. 

4. Clothing orders already processed and other tuck-shop items are final sale only. No refunds are issued.
